We always look forward to a Kiana lodge wedding. It’s close to home, the water view and the gorgeous grounds are a wonderful blend of pacific northwest and formal garden. The bride and I collaborated on this custom wedding with a white and green color palate using most local and native flowers and foliages.

The wedding ceremony took place on Kiana’s waterfront deck surrounded by planters of white flowers. We lined the aisle with bunches of native greenery, complementing our square top arbor that we decorated with white and green.
We used a mix of guest tables for the wedding reception. One super long farm table was used as a featured element in the room. The bride wanted the table really full so we started with tall arrangements of native greenery and added a few blooming branches. Compote arrangements in antique gold were filled with an exuberant mix of peonies, roses, spray roses, sweet peas, campanula and other white blooms. I thought we might need a bit more so smaller gold vases arranged in a simple style were placed on the table next to the tall vases. Gold bud vases, taper candles and votives finished the flower decor. Champagne napkins brought in the accent color.
