Its January, its cold and grey and there isn’t much going on. But wait, its wedding show season!! They are out there almost every weekend through the spring. Super fun and inspirational, its a chance to meet vendors and get ideas. This Year I will be in the boutique wedding show Weddings in Woodinville, at JM Cellars. We defiantly have a great team again this year for our spanish inspired wedding. The whole winery is set up for a ceremony and reception, wine tasting and little bites are available for sampling. Vintage ambiance supplied the  rental decor, Melody at MG Davis events did the styling and I am suppling the flowers of course. Jennifer Tai will be there if you would like to speak to a photographer and see her work, she is phenomenal! Rustic, elegant, and a little bit spanish come by and see all the wonderful ideas  we came up with.

The Farm Kitchen is another venue you should see if you like the country feel and lots of flowers. Their open house is on February 10, come by and see the farm and my table. Pink or purple, I am still deciding on the flowers.Farm Kitchen Open House Flyer

It’s not really spring, yet. Day after day the sky is grey so I thought we might need a little color. One of the first things to bloom in the winter are primroses. The yellow smell the best and are so bright they just called to me. We put a few plants in a box and tied it with a french linen ribbon. They are available for sale on the ledge just outside at Vintage Home and Garden here on Bainbridge Island.
