This bride and groom were married at the fabulous Alderbrook Resort in Union, WA, which is perfect for the destination wedding. Having a sense of humor and style this wedding was as unique as the couple. The bride asked that the tables be decorated with only one type of flower per vase. Each table had a little wedding cake of its own so we placed two vases on either side. The cake top was a decorated cookie in the shape of places special to the bride and groom, cookie cutters went home with all the guests. The ceremony was simple in its waterfront setting. The arbor was made specially for them by MBF. Each aisle chair was decorated with a single hydrangea bloom in blue and a luscious Midori ribbon in brown. Many of the flowers requested by the bride held significant meaning, but were not commercially available so we grew them for the couple. The bride dreamed of a peony bouquet but they were not available in summer so we ordered stunning white amaryllis from Holland. A map of Union was used as the guest book, how clever.
